Uno shaper che applichi logiche differenti tra ethernet e wifi potrebbe essere plausibile, ma ho verificato di non aver SQM installato e ho disabilitato gli init di QOS e IQOS.
Siamo a conoscenza di qualche servizio/componente che modelli/controlli il traffico su questo firmware, così da poter eventualmente provare ad ottimizzarne i parametri?

Uno shaper sulla rete, non sul router

Tieni presente che il solo fatto di avere una sorgente pacchetti ethernet invece che wifi da al traffico una forma diversa, quindi uno shaper a monte (che c'è su ogni nodo di rete) può reagire - anche non volendo - in modo diverso al traffico sorgente di tipo diverso

Ciao a tutti, da quando ho aggiornato il firmware dalla 17.2 alla 18.3.n.0462 il log /custo/syslog ha un po di segnalazioni che non capisco. Da tener presente che io ho disabilitato ipv6 (mi da problemi con pihole) ed ho anche eliminato wowfi cosi come non ho mai abilitato la rete guest qui di seguito un estratto subito dopo aver fatto un  /etc/init.d/network restart

Grazie LukePicci, in relatà ipv6 non vorrei abilitarlo perchè non riesco a configurarlo correttamente sul server pihole (non riesco a far riconoscere i device.) quando scrivi "disabilitare odhcpd" intendi disabilitare tutto dhcp oppure ipv6 in questo modo:

Facendo queste due cose il log ora ha meno segnalazioni. si ripete sempre questa sequenza

Senza odhcpd il pihole non dovrebbe avere problemi.

odhcpd è il servizio DHCPv6 per ipv6

Il comando disable che hai dato impedisce ad odhcpd di avviarsi all'avvio del router. Ovviamente se non rhai ancora riavviato il router o stoppato manualmente il servizio allora odhcpd è ancora acceso. Anche ddns è sempre attivo di default, puoi disabilitarlo alla stessa maniera.

Infine, è altamente probabile che i tuoi problemi al pihole in ipv6 siano dovuti ad una errata configurazione di odhcpd

Ciao a tutti! Sto provando ad ottenere i privilegi di root sul Fastgate in modo tale da configurarlo per farlo funzionare con rete Vodafone.

Il router è con firmware alla versione 18 (l'ultimo pubblicato credo). Ho seguito la guida che c'è su hack-technicolor.readthedocs.io, ma al momento dell'esecuzione dello script per lo sblocco, qualcosa non va e il processo si blocca (nella guida su github c'è scritto che il tempo di attesa può essere maggiore di un minuto, ma ho aspettato anche più di mezz'ora senza successo).

Devo fare qualche operazione in più che nella wiki non è descritta?
Premetto che ho seguito la guida su GitHub, impostando correttamente la scheda di rete e connettendo laptop e router tramite porta wan.

Se non vedi proprio arrivare messaggi dal router allora o hai qualche problema alle config del firewall o il router non è più in fase di sensing

Non credo sia un problema di firewall (sono su windows), dovrebbe esserere tutto su impostazioni di default e alla richiesta dei permessi ho ovviamente accettato.
Ho provato anche a lanciare lo script da WSL con ubuntu, ma il risultato è sempre lo stesso.

Qualcuno sa se nell'ultimo firmware (18.3.n.0462_FW_261_DGA4131) originale si hanno problemi cambiando l'ip del fastgate? Perché ho spostato l'ip dal 192.168.1.254 a 192.168.1.1 e alcuni dispositivi in DHCP continuano a ricevere il Gateway IP 192.168.1.254 e quindi non navigano  Unica soluzione in questo caso è lo sblocco immagino, no?
Per farvi capire in un computer con DHCP mi ritrovo come server DHCP 192.168.1.1 che è il fastgate ma come Gateway predefinito IPv4 192.168.1.254 che è il vecchio indirizzo del fastgate

Assicurati che il tool stia utilizzando la scheda di rete dalla quale hai connesso il fastgate.

Occhio che quando dai il consenso a sbloccare il firewall di windows te lo chiede solo per il tipo di rete corrente, quindi prosegui tenendolo disattivato, poi se proprio ci tieni controlla su cosa te lo ha fatto consentire.

@lorenzocanalelc l'ip del fastgate è impostato in network quello che viene dato come gateway sta in dhcp, io l'ho sempre cambiato a mano, non lo so se facendolo da interfaccia sia buggato o meno

Dal log che ho postato sopra c'è scritto eth0 che è la scheda di rete connessa con il fastgate (connesso alla porta 4 che è WAN, come indicato nella guida su Git).
Il problema rimane anche con firewall disattivato. Ho provato a disattivarlo sia da pannello di controllo che dal pannello di controllo con impostazioni avanzate.
C'è altro che dovrei provare?

eth0 perchè stavi in WSL, rifallo da windows e controlla

ovviamente qualsiasi cosa imposti sul firewall di windows non tange in alcun modo le altre vm su WSL2
