We cannot boot openwrt directly because we don't have the signing key, but we can pivot the root after the original firmware has booted

OK, penso che qualcosa di non "pulito" ma che funziona è sempre meglio che rimanere cosi. dobbiamo fare il necessario per andare su LUCI...è non stare cosi su un sistema TechnicoloAnsuelor  :asd:

@pigr8 I have tried with all of the gui, last one tried 3.16 including a full reset reapply root.

This is the resultant config file after using the gui to put it in bridge mode within the gui:

Used broadband page, network mode: bridged. After which it reboots and I have reduced files, wifi etc is disabled but for some reason I get no ptm0 interface.

I wondered if is because my isp has no vlan.

please make this test, go to brandband and exit bridged mode, it should reboot and go back to normal, then go to the internet access card (the 3rd card) advanced - and select the connection mode as bridged (option 4).. it should apply the bridged mode without rebooting.

go to broadband and remove the vlan use, then try to make a connection with your router, it should work.. "should"

Parlando di sorgenti, nessuno mi ha risposto. Qualcuno lavora su un firmware openwrt o no? non sappiamo chi fa cosa, e se serve a parlarne. se qualcuno sta lavorando su, si dovrebbe aprire un topic no?

Io ci sto lavorando ma la situazione è complicata. Anche l'obiettivo è difficile da definire.
I sorgenti sono inconsistenti, ci sono solo dei pezzi in chiara violazione della GPLv2:
"The source code for a work means the preferred form of the work for making modifications to it. For an executable work, complete source code means all the source code for all modules it contains, plus any associated interface definition files, plus the scripts used to control compilation and installation of the executable."
A questo punto l'idea sarebbe integrare il kernel in un tree di chaos_calmer ma l'operazione è complessa, soprattutto considerando la pletora di driver esterni al kernel che ci sono da compilare.
Concludo dicendo che il kernel 3.4 è mooooolto vecchio rispetto a chaos calmer per cui ci potrebbero essere anche diversi pezzi di codice da sistemare.

ricostruire il sistema operativo originario (openwrt "chaos calmer") su cui il firmware technicolor è basato, per avere tutto quello che offre nativamente openwrt, in primis l'interfaccia e quindi la gestione di pacchetti aggiuntivi attraverso ad essa.

non diventare dipendenti da una persona unica per evolvere le possibilità del router. Attualmente, tutti dipendiamo dalla disponibilità e dalle competenze di Ansuel.

C'è qualche novità sui miglioramenti della versione 1.04 da implementare in quella sbloccata 1.03? Del driver vdsl avevate già scritto che è stato integrato, ma il resto, tipo wifi e bug che hanno risolto nel team TIM beta? Scusate magari la domanda banale...

Mi unirei al team di programmazione riguardo openwrt "chaos calmer" ma non sono molto bravo in programmazione

Si perchè perde la connettività internet. La lascia fare ad un altro router.

1 finale, ovvero l'indirizzo ip del router a default. Il nome del file va messo con estensione, evita spazi e dagli un nome corto e semplice tipo firmware103.rbi, etc..

Da qualche parte mi pare di aver letto che posso recuperare la parte VoIP usando un TG789 vac (AGTOT) sbloccato e facendogliela gestire collegandolo al router, mi date conferma ?
