Quindi utilizza u-boot come bootloader, che è opensource http://sourceforge.net/projects/u-boot.
Qui http://www.jungo.com/openrg/doc/4.8/installation_guide/html/html_infineon/ch04.html si spiega come caricare un'altra immagine via tftp. Più precisamente si riferisce alla board EASY 50712 "Danube", mentre questa è una EASY 50505 "Amazon", ma credo che le informazioni si possano adattare. Ho controllato col tester ed effettivamente tra i pin ci sono 3,3 Volt, seguendo la pista direi (non sono sicuro al 100%) che si arriva al PSB 50530. Quindi da questo punto di vista ci siamo, no?
Il problema arriva per la costruzione dell' interfaccia RS232... Io sono arrivato a costruire un circuitino per lo spegnimento ritardato della luce della macchina ma niente di più... le saldature le faccio senza problemi ma da qui a costruire un circuito purtroppo non credo di riuscirci (e anche trovare i componenti magari non è proprio immediato), il circuito in questione è questo?
altrimenti comprarlo già fatto quanto potrebbe costare?

Un'alternativa potrebbe essere rappresentata dall'uso dei cavi seriali dati di telefoni alimentati a 3.3V, vedi
