Si, immagino il problema sia quello. Questo firmware usa il dm Device invece dell'IGD, quindi è probabile che qualcosa vada in aceto. Infatti quello di IGD ce l'ho estratto dal 789, potrei provare ad estrarre anche quello di Device riconfigurando transformer ma non sono sicuro di saperlo fare senza compromettere il risultato. Cioè se me ne viene fuori qualcosa di apparentemente valido e vado avanti su quello mentre in realtà c'è un errore fondamentale da qualche parte finisco in un labirinto senza uscita.

Un po' tutti quelli configurabili li supportano entrambi, ma su quale percorso vengano mappate tutte le chiavi dipende dal pacchetto transformer. Lo scopo è quello che ho detto prima: ci sono alcuni percorsi che l'acs tenta di esplorare, affinché lo script di provisioning prosegua come previsto deve ricevere come risposta qualcosa che sia in grado di gestire. Ad esempio, se ad un certo punto mi richiede il listing degli elementi sotto "Device.PPP.Interface." io devo mandarglielo indietro in modo che, per dire, Device.PPP.Interface.1.* corrisponda alla wan dati, Device.PPP.Interface.2.* a quella voip, ecc. Per capirlo "a mano" senza recuperarlo direttamente dal device bisognerebbe studiarsi il mapping generato dal transformer, studiarsi lo script di wansensing per quell'isp, e da quello capire come vengono valorizzati i percorsi di uci e quindi tramite transformer quelli di Device/IGD. Insomma un lavoraccio cervellotico davvero noioso.

La cosa ovviamente è più semplice se hai già visto un datamodel completo e valido utilizzato sulla stessa implementazione acs. Tipo, quello dei fastgate vbnt-f, vbnt-o e gbnt-2 l'ho ricostruito a partire da quello tiscali del vant-6 saggiamente adattato a quanto visto fare dal vecchio 10.x sempre del vant-6 fastweb, e valorizzato con quanto letto dagli script estratti dai vari RBI fastweb. Supponendo di voler procedere per vie traverse anche su questo vdnt-w potrei, come dicevo sopra, riconfigurare UNO in modo da utilizzare il dm standard Device, poi dovrei assicurarmi di patchare gli eventuali script nel firmware UNO affinché generino valori analoghi a quelli del firmware per telmex. Ci vogliono dei giorni a farlo. Però quando mi tocca farlo su un dispositivo che posso recuperare fisicamente generalmente preferisco spendere qualche spicciolo su ebay.

PS ovviamente di solito non lo faccio al mero scopo di recuperare qualche firmware divertente con cui giocare, diciamo che sapere come provare a ricavarne i firmware e saperli a volte sbloccare sono alcuni divertenti effetti collaterali ecco

Quello che volevo dirti e' che sui DGA ad esempio vengono mappate su entrambi i percorsi, poi nella configurazione di transformer viene blacklistata la root che non vogliono

Non capisco pero' perche' tutto questo interesse verso il vdnt-w, tutta questa storia volevo replicarla per rendere i DGA compatibili con l'ACS tiscali (che da quanto so sul lato firmware da scaricare ti fanno divertire poco), ma mi e' passata la voglia ancor prima di iniziare

poi potresti trovare altre difficolta' quali autenticazione tramite seriale, che non sono proprio semplicissime da superare se non conosci quelli di una linea attiva

comunque converrai che ci sono metodi molto piu' "ignoranti" per recuperare i firmware :D

Mi sto pentendo di essermi fatto sostituire il 788 v2 da tiscali, che mi ha rifilato un 789vn v3 di cui non ho trovato ancora alcun rbi homeware :(

Comunque mi trovo con quello che hai detto, dovrei riconfigurare un DGA per accedere al dm Device ma a quel punto vedrei mappati su di esso i dati relativi all'identità cwmp TIM-compatibile, e non Telmex-compatibile, che intendiamoci, potrebbe anche coincidere ma per esserne sicuri dovrei fare prove su prove… e senza nessuna garanzia del risultato.

Sono ripartito da 0.
In linea di massima la modifica eth3/wan funziona bene senza toccare la config del bridge e switch di default.
Anche il passaggio da wan a vdsl (che devo ancora testare) mi rimette eth3 in bridge.
Ok anche il passaggio in eth3 da pppoe  a static e dhcp. Solo il dhcp non mi prende il gateway e devo aggiungerlo  a mano con
ip route add default via 192.168.1.1.
Ho visto che hai anche aggiunto il comando per liberare ram in sede di installazione, io per non saper né leggere né scrivere lo ho aggiunto anche in crontab con frequenza ogni 10 minuti.
Comunque per me è GO!

-messaggio di errore che compare aprendo la modal internet (anche se la modal funziona...)

La modalità eth dovresti riuscire a configurarla facilmente anche da gui ora (non usando il wizard ma dalla config avanzata di broadband e internet)

Nessun reboot, il comando per liberare ram è un comando che inserivo per abitudine quando facevo il p2p in pc con poca ram.

 Per il wifi il 5ghz se intressa, come se interessa la rete guest. Quello che non compare è lo scan delle frequenze neppure aggiungendo a mano

il bello e' che il wifi analyzer c'e anche da stock, ma me ne ero reso conto che la modal del wifi era un po "vuota"
in VDSL non son stato capace di farlo andare online nemmeno con la GUI stock (forse riavviavo i servizi sbagliati) dato che provare la VDSL significava buttare giu' tutto, mi son rotto presto di fare prove

PS. mi sono accorto che nel mio scatolo degli scarti non avevo due 789vn come ero convinto ma erano in realta' un 788 e un 789, quindi son riuscito a fare prove dirette :D
