Chiedo intanto scusa per la mia inesperienza e se le domande fatte saranno banali, ce la sto mettendo tutta.
Ho una connessione FTTH (metroweb) della fastweb a 100/50 mb\s. Volevo passare da un TG1100 al DGA4131.
Lo stato attuale del DGA4131 è aggiornato alla v.18, rootato e con accesso in SSH. L'ho collegato tramite l'ONT sulla porta laterale. Il cavo di rete invece è collegato alla porta 4.

Il problema è che non ho linea. Ho provato anche a clonare il MAC del tg1100 ma non ho avuto esiti diversi.
Ho anche il dubbio di non aver configurato correttamente il file network, ma non saprei nemmeno da dove cominciare (sono andato un po' a naso, c'è modo eventualmente di ripristinare il file?)

Update: ho ripreso a smanettare dentro il file network. Il computer mi rileva la linea presente, se provo a dare comandi di ping e traceroute vanno a buon fine. Ma non riesco a navigare (né da PC, né da altri dispositivi in wifi ) e non funziona il VoIP.
Le spie sono accese tutte di bianco.

Update 2: quanto scritto sopra vale solamente se do il comando di reload del network. Se riavvio il router non funziona fino a quando non so il comando etc/init.d/network reload

devi disabilitare il wansensing, mettere eth4lanwan mode in etc/config/ethernet su 1, e poi verificare che in etc/config/network tu abbia eth4 e non vlan_eth4 come ifname per l'interfaccia wan.

intanto grazie per le dritte, e mi scuso per il ritardo nella risposta ma ho avuto qualche contrattempo.
Facendo come mi hai consigliato tu, ora ho linea e riesco a navigare MA solo su alcuni siti (ad esempio, youtube funziona, amazon anche, speedtest no, il meteo nemmeno, sia sul fisso con cavo che su cellulare). Ho notato anche che la maggior parte dei siti che dovrebbero indicarmi il mio IPv4 attuale me lo danno come "assente" e mi mostrano soltanto quello IPv6.
Inoltre non funziona ancora il telefono di casa (ma quello potrebbe essere un problema con il file "firewall").

Inoltre con il tg1100 avevo un ip fisso (2.xxx) ma provando ad impostarlo nel file network (ho cambiato solo le voci proto e ipadrr, non so se serva modificare altro) semplicemente non ottengo la linea.

Hai idea da cosa possa dipendere? Serve che giro qui qualche file di configurazione?

PS: ho provato ad impostare telegram in modo diverso. Se gli tolgo il permesso di utilizzare l 'IPv6, non riesce a collegarsi alla rete.

 L'IP statico devi comunque fartelo assegnare in DHCP, magari in aggiunta all'altro e non al suo posto. Per il resto credo manchi qualche rotta, rimetti la wan in DHCP e vedi che succede.

La WAN è già in dhcp altrimenti non riesco proprio a navigare. Ho solo fatto una prova in statico ma appunto non c'era verso di navigare, quindi sono tornato in DHCP.

@xasor61400  Certo! sotto puoi trovare i due network.
Il router è il netgear R7800 con openwrt. Quello che sto cercando di fare è di creare un trunk in cui nella vlan 2 ho la lan, e nella vlan 3 ho la wan, e quindi estendere il numero di porte lan che ho e poter utilizzare anche le porte lan del dga.
Per ora, come ti dicevo, funziona la wan e la lan fino al dga, cioè riesco ad entrare tramite ssh ma le porte poi non vanno.

Mi sembra tutto giusto sul DGA ma non mi è chiaro perchè sul Netgear stai mandando le due lan vid 1 e vid 2 separatamente al SoC per poi bridgiarle in software. Non so se sul Netgear la porta 5 e la 6 rappresentano due porte dello stesso switch entrambe connesse alla cpu o cos'altro, ma io terrei tutto sulla stessa vlan. Se mi spieghi come sono le porte del Netgear ti dico anche come.

Ad intuito, direi una cosa del genere, poi vedi tu cosa farne di eth1 e 6t che io non so a cosa ti servono.

@LuKePicci lo avevo messo all'inizio come prova senza tanto ragionarci su, la configurazione corretta è quella che ha messo poco dopo xasor.
@xasor61400 si ho visto la config che avevi messo, ora la metto uguale anche io (tenendo la vlan 2 per la lan e la 3 per la wan).
ad ogni modo, non è questo il problema perchè comunque le porte continuano a non andare (lo so perchè era una cosa che avevo già provato, e per sicurezza l'ho messa prima di rispondere).

attualmente la eth0 la uso per il trunk, mentre nella eth2 ho attaccato un dispositivo (ps4)
la cosa a mio parere strana è che si vede che ci sono pacchetti mandati e ricevuti nella eth2, mentre nella eth2.2 ci sono solo pacchetti mandati. non saprei però che pesci pigliare sinceramente,

Io passo, nelle vostre config vedo numeri di porte a caso che non comprendo. prima eth0 ed eth1 sull'asus, ora eth2, ma avete installato una build DSA? E poi le porte, vedo apparire 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 … ma quante porte ha quell'aggeggio?? XD Vedo 0t e 5t da una parte e nessuna porta 0 dall'altra. quindi questa cosa per me non assomiglia minimamente a quello che stavi cercando di fare.

Penso dobbiate chiedere aiuto a qualcuno che conosca il vostro device, Per quanto riguarda il dga4131 non mi sembra ci siano problemi.

la configurazione da me è praticamente speculare a quella che hai appena messo.
la ps4 va in timeout tentando di acquisire l'ip via dhcp, se volete però provo anche con il pc!
sul dga è tutto disabilitato, dal wansensing al dhcp e il wifi.

anche secondo me il problema è sul dga, è per quello che ho messo l'output del comando ifconfig lanciato dal dga, secondo me c'entra qualcosa il traffico su eth2 e eth2.2 (che sulla seconda trasmette e basta)

Quella di @xasor61400 è corretta ma usa in modo invertito vid 2 e 3 ed anche la porta 0 (eth0) al posto della 6 (eth1).

PS comunque se usate le due porte cpu distinte per lan e wan credo possiate anche evitare di taggarle lato cpu. Una cosa del genere (sempre secondo le convenzioni di @matteoa91) dovrebbe funzionare ugualmente:
